One of my first good finds was a 1954 or 34 Licence plate. I found in my brothers friends yard, he kept it.

Plates are always fun to find. I dug up a 1955 one last fall that had been folded into a small square. I was able to unfold it without breaking it . It even contained most of the original paint.

Go back, and dig down a little. You might find the bumper it was attached to. (lol)

I can top that!!! I'll post it later. but I found an old Montana state plate from 1955. in a park in Minnesota. How Ironic it say's The Treasure State..

talk about cool.

that reminds me of when i found a rear quarterpanel trim plate from a 57 chevy that had the logo still on it!!
