Wow Kane! That collection of rings make mine look puny in comparison! I'm not doing something right, or these folks are just not losing them as much as your folks! I would love to see a pawn shop operators face if you walked in with the ones on the chain! (uh.....how much you lookin to get for those mister?) LOL

All of these rings are probably about one third of what I've found altogether. Still finding them to,33 silver rings so far this year. Finding rings has a lot to do with where you look. Good hunting, Kane 23

Thanks for posting these pictures! the rings are all from the last ten years or so,maybe 12 at the most. I had a huge pile before and sold them all when I was broke. I still sell most of the gold rings that I find. I also give rings away a lot, I gave my wife two gold ones in the last 8 months. No competition from me for most of you, I plan on detecting until I drop, Good hunting, kane 23

Great collection, I do very good on rings at the beach in Southern CA, I can't imagine an area in Utah that would produce that many rings? Only place I could think of would be on the ski slopes?

Kane you got a nice 401 k plan going . I have found rings myself . I am Much like you I sell or give them away .however Since september I have found them about 1 a week Im gunning for you next year I love to hunt and try to average 20-25 hrs a week . I would like to know how long you have been doing this hobby? I feel the same as you Rings are not that hard to find. gold is a trick however That getting better for me . 7 years going on8 yrs I have found 53 rings . only 3 gold . my hats off to you . are you sure your not aka is the pink panther lol. nice collection I know you did not ask for this but I compeating with you for next year .I also update my stats . Ill be keeping track . Just something to keep me motivated . btw I found a ring today . Underdogger I have been detecting for 41 years. The rings you see here are probably only about one fourth of what I have found. I guess you can compete with me,never know when i'm going to burn out and just go to looking for old coins. You will beat me in gold rings, I hav'nt found any this year and I've had it with turning my discriminator down to find them. I wish you the best of luck..Kane 23

So am I to assume Parks How the heck can someone lose rings anywhere other than the beach?? That doesnt make any sense. I have lost rings before in water (finger shrinks, playing around, etc.) but I simply cannot fathom how so many rings could be lost "everywhere"... Must be all those married folks taking them off when they are out drunk and trying to score, and missing the pocket! LOL..
You sure have it figured out though!

Hey Kane.... Yeah, I know there are really no beaches there (my wifes two sisters live in SLC), I am just amazed that so many rings have been lost. I would have never imagined that people could lose them so easily....

All I can say is keep that discrimination up & I'll keep finding the gold. But woldn't it be nice if we had a few beaches to hunt or a few old spots that would produce old coins.

I got tired of looking for gold rings early this year since I was'nt finding any. We could find a lot more old stuff if we were trying to put in the time and money. I found three wheats the other day searching a lawn, thought I could at least find a few silver dimes, no such luck.
Silver surfer there are many rings where you are, you just have to find them..... good hunting, kane 23
