At antother park this weekend met up with my buddy Ed(upstate) we started our search at the tree line of this 200+ year old park after an hour or so i ended up with four IH's Ed got three V nickels and a IH, then i started moveing around a big tree got a good signal dug down about eight inchs pulling the dirt from the hole just ran my S1 probe over the dirt and bang there it was a 1901 barber dime also got a button from the war of 1812, a trigger guard from an old black powder riffle, a musket ball, and a V nickel and wheats....

This is going to sound like a lead to a punchline to a joke but I could not resist. What year is the War of 1812 button? Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Nice finds, I want to come up and detect with you guys. Of course there are about eight different states now I want to go to, to metal detect now. The detail on the Barber is very nice, I love that button, buttons are very cool finds in my book.
