A few finds from the past weekend

Went back to the site in the city right on the main road..I still cant believe it has not been hunted

It goes to show you have to give all places a shot

Got a real nice 1834 N2 double profile large cent..Thanks for the id Vermontpackrat
Also a nice 1818 large cent.

A cool suspender buckle..Can anyone date that

A killer dandy button..It is almost identical to a GW button..My heart was beating fast..
Some GW buttons dont have any writing on them..Some have an anchor..
All i can say is check your buttons..Here is some in the Cobb collection.

I never got a Dandy with gilt on it before..
I wish i found this site in the winter.Its so overgrown you can barley detect it..

Nice to see the rest of the finds As far as the spot being too grown up to hunt.... I am having the same problem. I say be patient, what is in the ground waiting to be dug has been there for MANY years and will wait for you find it this fall when things die back a little bit

Nice condition of finds. A person would be excited to return to a place like that. Those type of sites are growing up fast for sure, I'm already planning next spring's hunts, not that I'm giving up just yet.
