Went back to the site in the city right on the main road..I still cant believe it has not been hunted :icon_scratch:

It goes to show you have to give all places a shot

Got a real nice 1834 N2 double profile large cent..Thanks for the id Vermontpackrat
Also a nice 1818 large cent.

A cool suspender buckle..Can anyone date that

A killer dandy button..It is almost identical to a GW button..My heart was beating fast..
Some GW buttons dont have any writing on them..Some have an anchor..
All i can say is check your buttons..Here is some in the Cobb collection.

Your very right about hitting every spot...I've got some killer finds on spots that were obvious spots to hit.
Great finds and keep hitting that site! :icon_thumright:

You are right Blaze you got way more comming out of that spot . Got to be some seated coins there and would not be shocked to see a few from you . Thanks for sharing . Now go pound it hard . Real nice shape on that 1834

Nice to see the rest of the finds :icon_thumleft: As far as the spot being too grown up to hunt.... I am having the same problem. I say be patient, what is in the ground waiting to be dug has been there for MANY years and will wait for you find it this fall when things die back a little bit :headbang:

WOW...great finds...love that LC! awesome digs man!

Nice pulls man! :icon_thumright: Some good detail on the coppers!

Have any Jewish friends? Some wedding bands have a yiddish saying on them, but I don't know what it is, and a silver ring may or may not be a wedding ring. Waiting with baited breath for a translation.

some places johnny ya just wouldnt know that there would be something there. think about the places right under your nose that hold great finds and you just wouldnt think it. it blows my mind :tard: that was one great hunt! :icon_sunny: willy

Nice condition of finds. A person would be excited to return to a place like that. Those type of sites are growing up fast for sure, I'm already planning next spring's hunts, not that I'm giving up just yet.

be interested to see what you pull out next.
