A few digs from the 1904 schoolhouse today

I found out that an adjacent lot was part of the school property and not part of the neighbor's yard. I went for a couple hours today....45 minutes in the middle of the day, and about 90 minutes this evening, and pulled this stuff up from this vacant lot. There's another 1/4 acre for me to sweep now. Just in time, because the coins were getting pretty thin on the rest of the lot.

Thanks..........I'm blessed to live in a very old town full of nice folks who don't mind me detecting on their property for the most. I never have to drive more than a mile to my parking spot....then I can walk all over town.

The schoolhouse and the park here in town were both very good silver producers. This picture is of the silver I removed from this little town up until mid december of last year. I had only taken up this hobby again on October 1st.

Since then, I have added 55 more silver coins and a gold wedding band to my trinket box. Only 14 of the last 55 silver coins were quarters...no halves...the other 41 were dimes.
