If I had had no bad luck I wouldn't have had any luck. I did have a fate worst then death for a water hunter. How about opening your case to go hunting and find out your cable craked and split? Mine did. cable.JPG Found some black tap and held my breath. I managed to hunt with no falsing I have no idea. This happened two more times and a lot of tap. I was the first one at this beach, for at least an hour. B1.JPG Then the whole world from the ship showed up. Took a shot of local life also. Black Angle fish. B3.JPG All I did was find junk on the first two beaches. This was my last one. B7.JPG I was very lucky. Ended up with a 18k lady's ring, a 14K man's ring with DAD on it and one silver. Now I have to deal with Minelab. AAHHHHH! Keeping my fingers crossed.

I fixed it for him last week, hard wired in a spare 10" coil. Same day repair. Was up and running good.

Thanks to you I'm up and hunting. Put in on a long shaft I had hanging around and never used. Came out pretty good. Can't wait to get wet. Wish me LUCK! M1.jpg I did send you an email?

Bobby pin king's excal II
Back in his hands today after
A straight shaft fabrication, peltor earphone mod and pinpoint/discrimination mod.

Nice finds! The repair looks great too! I hope it works as well as it did when the cable was split...

You did a great job Buddy! Purr's like a kitten and it runs smooth. Thanks!

Very nice hunt! The salt water and sun reek havoc with some of the "new" plastic wiring covers. I have found this to be true in other applications like robotics.
