Today was the first nice day we’ve had in a long time so I decided to go do a little digging. I decided to go try a field that I’ve had my eye on for about a year. I’ve finally found the owner at his house (I’ve tried to find him 3 times before). He gave me permission to hunt the field anytime I want

Now this field had a horse track on it from 1860 to about 1910. It promises to be a very nice hunting spot, with one problem. The field is a little over 1200 acres. Now I was able to hunt it for about 3 hours today so I figure I was covering about 10 acres a min. This may seem a bit fast for you but I was able to find a few nice little things.

Small buckle
1932 wheat back penny
1881 Indian head penny

Hey Tim
Captain of the US Speed Detecting Team! Always hard to slow down with so much area to cover! Sounds like many hunts ahead of you. Nice Digs. Good luck and HH.

Well Tim, you got the best finds from the field. dont know what is up with the site but we can at least say we hit it all. 3 hours and 3 of us and nothing. I am thinking we need more info. Gypsy get on that for us.

Aye Aye .....already ahead of you!

What's up with that, Gypsy? Are you saving the real racetrack site for when you come to visit me...so we can get all the loot ourselves?

Timmy...I want to film your 10 acres a minute technique so I can post it for all to see. ;)
