A couple relics today

Todays rescues.
I have found many pocket knives and have often wondered how old they were. Today I found one and in the same hole was a 1946 Wheatie.
So I am going to assume this knife is mid to late 40s? Right?
Also I found what appears to be a sportsman’s cufflink?

The gold gilt is still on it. The front has a scene that appears to be a duck flying amongst cat tails and has a beautiful multifaceted glass(?) gem embedded in it.
The back has PAT FEB 8 1885. Now that is very cool.

I think it's an Imperial knife, and it was in someone's pocket for many years.
