Went out for a couple hours in the cold and wind at an 1860 home. Not sure if it had been pounded over the years by others but I thought maybe I would at least come out with a couple keepers. Snagged an 1889 Injun from around 9 inches. Very faint signal. The only Injun of the day. Got one other 1912 Wheatie and some other trinkets. The bracelet was in the backyard. Not sure if the owner lost that one or maybe her daughter. I hope to get back in touch with them to see if it is theirs so I can get it back to them. Other than that I had the feeling that this place was pounded over the years. This house sticks out like a sore thumb to us detectorists, maybe that's why I only found a couple of keepers. The other small ring was found a day before at another house. It has "SALVALGOLD" on the band. Not sure what that means. The other thing was an old Ford key with the # 57 on the back. Wonder what kind of Ford that would start? Thats all for now, hope everyone stays warm out there and be safe. :icon_thumleft: jgas

Great hunt there congrats.

With finds like that, I still wouldn't call the place pounded. The other day I was detecting a park where there were zero keepers after several hours.

Very nice haul. WTG.
