This thing makes one of the world's sweetest sounds . . . . . . when you're the person with their finger on the trigger.

Only applies if you're a corrupt Government though...right? :)

Clairvoyant: The ability to clearly see that this Thread has absolutely nothing to do with the Second Amendment.:evil5:

Actually, for PROTECTION FROM A CORRUPT GOVERNMENT --- and law breakers.

I know it's a difficult thing to understand, but it's called TRUTH.

You guys are too funny, this has to be a joke :laughing7:

Otherwise.... It's in violation of the TOS :tongue3:

You may not... Promote physical harm or injury against any group or individual or transmit any viruses, worms, defects, Trojan horses, or any items of a destructive nature.

I suggest members report posts they think violate rules and let moderators decide if it violates TN rules...

Not sure what you mean . . .

How is a sound going to cause physical harm or injury to any group or individual? Besides, the statement has to do with things like a stalking case that occurred here on Tnet where one member (Czechdetectingtours) contacted the employer of another member trying to cause them harm.

I did not transmit any viruses, worms, defects, Trojan horses or any items of a destructive nature to you or any other member of this forum.

I would remind the poster that posts should be ON TOPIC.

And I will say again, that it is a lovely sound . . . as long as you are not the one breaking the law.

That sound has saved many lives on BOTH ends of the weapon. First, it keeps the homeowner safe. Second, unless the thief is desirous of becoming a nominee for a Darwin award, it usually stops the thief in their tracks and makes them very agreeable to accepting the homeowners' instructions while they wait for law enforcement.

There is no mistaking the sound of a pump shotgun chambering a round. I bet it has stopped many confrontations. Many women have used that sound to show they were serious when they said "leave or leave me alone...."

Only a complete fool or idiot would argue with a woman holding a shotgun on them...

The sound is a better deterrent than a dog...

:laughing7:Maybe you just don't have the right breed of dog? I agree with a pump action being perfect to protect ones self in their home. That sound of a shell being chambered is quite hard not to notice and usually induces a pants crapping moment for any intruder.

LOL!:laughing7: A pants crapping moment for an intruder would be well deserved!

Definitely not. I haven't yet met a hearing impaired person who was a burglar. So much depends on being able to hear the cops or the victim coming home.

Depends . . . if they can hear, perhaps they should be wearing some just in case???

Chadeaux: I would like to thank you for locking my thread. I guess you just couldn't handle a thread in the 2nd amendment forum that showed even the slightest disagreement with your opinion? Maybe I can return the favor for you. Turn the gun around...hear the sound of epiphany...that's the beauty of the 2nd amendment. Shall not been infringed!

I didn't lock it, mod or admin must lock threads.

It may have been because of your threatening tone.

The last comment in a thread is not always the one that gets it locked.

No...you provided the impetus. Do you know what that word means? You seem to be struggling with "infringe," let me know if you want me to assist in your understanding. Your egomaniacal, one-sided view of the world prevents you from discussing anything in a civil manner. You replied to my post with anger, violence, and venom. I protected and stood my ground. I could have reported it to the mods but I chose to deal with you on my own. Let us call things what they are...your belief in the second amendment resides from a latent homophallacidal nightmarish Electra complex. You don't even own a gun...

If you are an honorable man then apologize for your comments and ask the mods to unlock it.

I like this sound too, but,if you hear it its going to be too late for you.:laughing7:

Easy, let's show some detachment. or someone leaves the field?

By the way, I did not really like a big hoppy beer till we started making our own.
I have been thinkig about growing hops lately because of it.
