Went out in the water at a local beach today and found this silver ring. One side says .925 and there is a symbol on the other which is to small for me to take a photo with my camera. I drew a picture of what the little stamp shows on the inside of the ring. If anyone has seen this before please chime in because I'm curious of what it is. Thanks Erick DSCN2395.JPGDSCN2397.JPG

Makers mark, 1,000's of them out there, some of the more obscure ones difficult to impossible to track down.

could be 20th century Indian jewelry from one of your tribes

Is the .925 marked on the outside of the ring?

No sir the .925 is on the inside of the ring Oh well its a tad better than all of the junksten carbide rings i usually find. I am also sure all of the stones are cubic zirconia. The water here in Kansas is still ice cold so if you plan on water hunting these parts wear your heavy duty wetsuit!

Very nice indeed ,,it’s always special to leave with a ring,,

I can't tell the color of those stones or the condition by the photo but I find plenty of diamonds mounted in silver and even have one ring with four small black diamonds in it. I'm not sure on the makers mark but it has me curious. Like Xraywolf said though, there are thousands of makers marks out there.
