91 in all directions....close....no cigar

I got back to my place today. Four hour walk. But, I was concentrating on high traffic areas. Means more trash to sort thru.



Not much but I'm not unhappy. A very interesting walk.



I got more indications of age and *that* is really what I've been going for here.



Another pretty 91 signal! Got to do my 91 in all directions dance.

S'ok with me though, kept it exciting.



This thing is as thin as a razor. No clue.



Fascinating button! To think....how this fragile button came out of the ground after 100 to 200 years and whole!

At least you can make out the pattern on the front! Was about 9 inches down too!



Then there's this thing! *VERY* interesting piece!
No markings but guess what?



Not only does it still work, but when opened, a rarity! There's still a face in there, looking back at me!!!

Anybody know what Martha Washington looked like?

Nice locket. I dug one very similar to yours. Made of brass and unmarked. Had strips of paper with gibberish on them. Likely belonged to a kid. Still kept it though. Mine was plain with no decorative art work on it.

The piece that has my attention is the big button. Anyone recognize the rope like design?

Probably just a decorative.
