Had an absolutely incredible hunt yesterday. Received a new permission on a 1937 home in the beach home area on Lake Michigan. Supposedly some Al Capone history on the house, but I have verified that is not the case. Had my first hunt on Friday and was pulling tons of wheaties out of the ground. You know what that means, where there are wheaties there is bound to be silver. No silver on Friday though.

Hit the site again on Sunday morning and focused only on the front yard which is about 50 x 50 yds square. And then the silver started popping. Wow, I was amazed. By far my best silver day ever. Pulled another 24 wheaties as well and a couple of rings with stones missing. One is silver.

It will be tough to top that hunt!

Fantastic silver hunt, congratulations! You are right, where there are wheat cents silver is waiting to be found! GL & HH

That is simply fantastic! 7 is my higest silver count ,now I am happy with one most times.Wow,two 50 centers !!

Daaaang...9 silvers!!...and jewelry to boot. I'm sure that is a totally virgin site and there is going to be MUCH more there...and if you uncover any rings...still on a finger, then you can verify the AL Capone theory..lol...keep looking, thx for sharing...ddf

10 silvers on land is a fantastic hunt. I won't bore you with my record. Congrats on the two halves and the rest

I'd be looking forward to doing the front yard again after a real good rain. With that much silver in one spot, you should be able to pull several more.....sounds like a nice honey hole to work.
Thanks for sharing and good luck next trip.

Good point xr7ator. Ground conditions where pretty dry. The whole dang lawn had these old sprinkler heads that were ringing up like silver dollars should except really loud and 0" depth.

Oh yeah

Great hunt man. That's a great yard and prob holds more

You're right, it'll certainly be hard to beat that hunt!! My gut tells me you're going to find even more silver and perhaps a valuable coin or ring- GL!!
