Doing some air testing inside these days to better learn my machine (too cold outside this part of the world, cabin fever setting in already),
noticed something odd with my 9" LF coil - but not my HF Elliptical:

In a quite room, you can hear a distinct audible click coming from the coil (strongest on the web where the charging clip is) whenever you switch frequencies; either by changing to the next prog with a different freq, or by expert settings within the prog.

As I can't detect this coming from my HF coil (or maybe I'm too deaf to hear it) I'm wondering if this is common to other people's 9" LFs, or may be a symptom of a loose component in my particular case. I know electronics can exhibit magnetostrictive effects under changing circuit conditions - or maybe there is a reed relay in the LF..?

Just wondering what other people's experiences are.

Mine clicks. Completely normal when changing frequency was my thought

LF definitely clicks. Haven't noticed it with the hf but haven't really been listening for it either.

It is the relays working when freq is changed.
Normal ops.
