This is an assortment of 5 hunts. The heat around here is still cutting into my hunting time as is a new work schedule that I’m getting adjusted to.
I have 9 Gold items to share with everyone. My favorite being the lucky shoe marked 585 (European equivalent of 14k,) it looks like it originally had a setting with 17 baggett diamonds, the 14k kids ring has a nice sized diamond, not a CZ. The green stone stud earring is marked 10k, the bent earring and the small baby hoop earring tested 10k.
The white metal earring is marked 925 CZ, it has a CZ stone setting.
Some of you may have noticed that my last post was several weeks ago. That’s because of a few things. One of them being that the right side dog ear that attaches the coil to the lower shaft ripped off on my SE's slimline coil.
I think it ripped off during the normal act of pulling off the coil cover off to clean it, or at least that’s when I noticed it. It may have happened in the act of adjusting the coil angle while detecting. None the less, I sent the coil to Los Vegas and I hope they cover it under the Warranty. They told it would take at least 30 days to look at it. ML in LV said they received it on the 3rd of September so I hope to here something this week.
The top of the slimcoil is paper thin. Another problem with my slimline coil is that the two parts that cover the windings (which look like they had a hot glue bond) are separating from each other.
