Debuting Sunday, Nov. 14, at 9/8c, Frozen Gold gives viewers a front row seat to the world of gold exploration. This weekly adventure series follows six Americans who embark on a dangerous quest to uncover wealth on an Arctic journey through uncharted land.

I'm predicting they are as good as the Greenland Crew was :tongue3:
but may be worth a try

One of the cast members is on this forum. I forget his username But i recognized him. His name is Erik and he is or was pretty good friends with Asmbandits. Neither post here much anymore. He s also on Facebook and Youtube but I dont use Facebook anymore
The sisters are from Sac area. The one posts on FB.

they have minimal experience.

I've got last Sunday's episode recorded...just not sure I've got the
stomach to watch it.

OK...so I sucked it up and hit "play". I fast forward through all the
commercials, but that's still 43 min. of my life I just wasted...and
I knew better...:BangHead:

The people advertised as "experienced miners" seemed to have little
to no idea how to assemble or use the high-banker. Worse yet, they're standing on horizontally fractured bedrock, but are digging the loose aggregate from around boulders.

The one kid goes out and does dig some of those crevices; still can't
find a flake of gold..but then his panning technique is questionable, IMO.

All told, I don't think they've found $1 worth of gold...total.

Too bad somebody wasted their money making that show.

Last episode , After 2-3 months of mining the gold weigh was less than 2 oz divide by 6 prospectors & a claim owner , Gas, food, lodging, excavators, helicopter rides ect. Would anybody want to go back ?

I was hoping it would be something interesting, but it sounds more like it's not.

Thanks for the updates, and all the best,

Lanny

I've spent much on fuel, food ,time digging, millin just to end up with grams. take the good with the bad it's mining that's how it goes, I go back time after time like I said it's mining....
Gt....

Funny reading the replies 😆
Same as our ones here, so much set up stuff it was an insult to the intelligence.
One find I saw I know was found elsewhere by a friend of them 😆
