This thing was nasty rusted. It got an electrolysis bath all night and cleaned up enough to get markings off of it. It didn't make it into the Beeps in my sleep lost his sheep thread because at the time I couldn't see anything but rust. It cleaned up nice and I can see 8M or BM. It was found in the field near the woods I was hunting. Just curious as to what this may have been a friend of? It is magnetic. Now try not to be overly excited about this find. Try to remain calm and breathe slowly. Try to hold back screaming banner find.:laughing7:

You are a wizard or something. I can't stump you at all. Is the "thingy" at least old haha? And what exactly is that? I googled it and saw bulls and tractors haha!
Don't mind me, that was a crude country boy joke. Didn't know anyone would take it seriously. :dontknow:

Looks like a broken wheel stud off an axle or hub.

"Adjustable furniture foot maybe," Taz42o said, (and Clovis97 echoed), and I think he is correct. I've seen the exact same object on the bottom of a washing machine's four corners, which allow you to make height adjustments to get the machine to sit perfectly level.

The marking saying 8m MAY mean the bolt's threaded shaft is 8 millimeters in diameter. Use a digital caliper on the shaft to find out if that guess is correct.
