8/31/10 - Chasing the Deep Signals

Went back to the park last night for two hours. Didn't get any silver but did find 2 1907 IHs and a circa 1916 Excelsior Shoe good luck token/medallion which based on my research was given out with a pair of shoes as a promotional item. These shoes were promoted as the "official" shoe of the boy scouts. Also found 6 wheaties which included the 1911D wheatie pictured below. This is my lowest mintage wheatie this year.

it seems like 07 indian heads are all over, 4 (of our 5 i think) of the indian heads my family's found are 07.
