71 holed musket balls in the same hole

Took about an hour to get all of these holed musket balls out of one hole. The first one found was about 6” deep. The last one found ended up being about 24” deep. There was nothing else in the hole. Maybe someone dropped a fishing net?

I think those are fishing weights. What is the diameter?

I agree. Fishing net weights. Dug a bunch of them in the Caribbean.

Yeah. I think someone dropped a large fishing net with all of these weights on it.

My one old homesite close to river had right at 100 been found all over the place, you found all in one, I but there off a old throwing castnet? nice digs!
