Spent 1H at a local park trying to score 40 coins to make my 2,000th coin find of the year. I did manage 31. It got too dark and my backlight on the display on my Eagle Spectrum is broken so I had to leave at 8:15PM.
According to my records, this is hunt #45 for the year. If I average 3.5H per hunt then I've accumulated roughly 158 hours in the field so far this year. I'm averaging 12 coins per hour or 44 coins per hunt. Not enough to quit my day job! - Just kidding! I do it for the exercise and thrill of scoring a find of a lifetime.
