I found a large Ellensburg Blue Agate about 5 miles from the Green River Notch in Ellensburg, WA this summer. After months of deciding we chose to cut the stone and the results are beautiful. The man who cut the stones works out of a shop called Gem State Crystals in Moscow, ID and graded three of the stones at A grade, one at A/B, and the two largest ones at a B. There is 66.5 Carats in all and I wanted to share/ask anyone if they had a possible appraisal for these stones. I have heard anywhere from 10-250 dollars a Carat depending on the quality and size of the stone. I'm curious so feel free to comment what you think or if you have any other additional info go ahead and share. I have posted all the pictures from hard stone until the final cut cabochons. Enjoy!
