6 inch dredge not sucking like it should

20191218_194304.jpgheres what a converted wheel barrow compressor looks like with the double filtration, i have 3 of these, they are good to 100ft or two divers to 60ft ish
20191218_194541.jpgheres a big monster 8hp Briggs with a Quincy compressor, i know it will run 3 divers at once up to at least 75ft depth. this has the filters on the 30 gallon volume tank (the yellow thing you can see partially on top) and is connected to it by the large hose laying on the compressor thru the ball valve in center of the small accumlater tank. it makes huge amounts of air and just idles most of the time
20191218_194634.jpgheres the bauer brand oil
20191218_194425.jpgthis is the "Aqua Tech" from louisiana companys own brand oil, i used it alot till they went out of business

As far as using an air compressor from a car to breath from, that is probably not a good idea.
You are setting yourself up for illness or death if you breath air from a compressor that uses oil for lubrication of the compressor cylinder. You need to pay attention to the quality of the air you breath. Try to use components that are designed for breathing., and pay attention to where the air is coming from.. .you dont want to be breathing the exhaust from your honda.

This thing works just fine for 1 diver. Unless you’re going bigger than a 6” there’s not much reason for 2 divers
