Have used 5200 to extend the life of neoprene wet suit& drysuit gloves. I replaced the zipper to resurrect an old beater viking pro dry suit using dry suit cement and also used aquaseal liberally to seal some leaks, tears, and rot. I haven't been overly impressed with aquaseal longevity and am considering covering aquaseal with 5200 to give it some toughness. Have any of you guys done that? Will 5200 stick to aquaseal?

just comparing marine uses, the 5200 is a polyurethane sealant and should not be used as a glue
aquaseal is a urethane adhesive so the two will be compatible,
might rough it up with sandpaper and apply it beyond where its needed.
I used glue to fix the rips on my knees then covered them with 5200 still good after 3 years

Thanks for getting back to me with the information and your experience with it.

Love 5200,,,

So much that if I ever have dentures I will use it for it as well. :P

Although I don't know about your neck of the woods the price for a tube as rocketed up to a jaw dropping price here.

over 17 a tube... which is OVER double what it cost when I first started using it.

I used it for everything back then... Shower... Rv... everything.

Man it jumped in price here.

Yup, got way expensive out west also! I've used it in marine applications over the years when I don't want to take the application apart again. Always wear rubber gloves when using it.

Used it for showering?...I thought I loved 5200!
Dentures? You're not the only one using it to augment body parts...
Every time I open a tube I got it all over myself by the time I'm done!
