5 copper hunt! Buttons, button, bell oh my!!

I'll try to be brief.

Mom wanted to watch the kids. Ok!

Mom lives 45 minutes away in a great old historic town on the border of Connecticut. Brother says he talked to a farmer who owns the land near where he town was first settled back in the 1700's. I have been wNting to detect those fields for a long time.

Well, it happened. Permission granted!

Found a lonely iron patch in the field and worked it hard for a few hours.

5 coppers
1800 LC, 1802 LC, 1806 LC
two unidentifiable British coppers ( ring lower, like an Indian head almost)

10 buttons
A COMPLETE cufflink!
Massive crotal bell
And the usual stuff....

nuttin' but a sack of failure--- the field has been planted-- so that is over & dunwit :sadsmiley: hit the stone farmhouse by the barn and was even worse--- one big a$$ waste of battery power-- 0 finds. landowner told the truth--- the farm has seen more coils than a mattress factory. :BangHead: :sad7: :sad11: :cussing: :angry5:
You guys get anything from that plowed field on schoolhouse road?

Bummer. I really thought you guys were going to find something there.... oh well.... I hope to provide a local spot for us all to hit this summer! Would love to meet up with you guys again!
