You had a great day for sure! Nice going on two state coppers!

Wow Coop!! What an awesome hunt! I love all of it; it's ALL amazing. Great digs!!!

Congrats Coop!!!Windy day it was ,looks like you found my long lost cousin, lol .Nothing better than colonial copper =ED

Man that was a hunt I bet you wont soon forget. Great finds for sure, bet you find some silver there befor too long.
Great little cuff link button.

Yes, that is a great day, but what might be your best coin (at least the most interesting) is not the state coppers, but the Counterfeit 1775 mule halfpenny... George II obverse, and George III Reverse. Not at all common to find in North America, and as you may or may not know the counterfeits are broken into families and it would be well worth finding out where that coin fits in.

That's an amazing variety of early coppers, and it looks like they cleaned up quite nicely. I sure wish they plowed around here. With the no-till planting they haven't turned the soil around here in many years. Congrats on a super successful hunt!

On occasion I'll have dreams about coppers laying on top of the ground like that. :laughing7: That's an awesome site you have there. Congrats!... and great video as well.

Those coppers look great Coop! I pray for the day they plow around here but that'll never happen. I dig your videos too, keep em' comin'.

Thanks Ip, Im aware It has the bust of a King George II 1740-54 but the date of a King George III 1775 Half-Penny but I don't really know anything about the families of counterfeit KG coppers.Don went ahead and emailed the pics of my coin to an expert and he says although it is unusual, rare for a counterfeit, not really that valuable. I wish I could find more info on the coin. HH coop
