Well, hit the park again for a few hours. Found a ton of clad and missed one a dime again by one year (1965). Best find was the cartridge with the markings EW 42. Found out that this was a WWII bullet. Found this info on it:
EW Eau Claire Ordnance Plant, Eau Claire, Wis, USA. Operated by US Rubber Co from August 1942 to December 1943
So I guess this means that it was made in 1942. Still trying to figure out what it was doing in a town park? Alos found the toy car. Anyone have any way to date this? It has no markings that I could find and was painted orange at one time. The thing on the right is some kind of chrome cap
Anyway found 1941 coin before and the 42 bullet now. So the park is probably at least 64 years old.
Thanks!
