Huge Ottoman shipwreck found after 70-year hunt

A couple of interesting items I saw in the article...

...If I remember my history correctly, Sultan Murad IV was absolutely opposed to smoking. So opposed, in fact that he would cut off the hands of any of his soldiers who were caught smoking--while in battle. They were then left to find their way off the battlefield without their hands to defend themselves.

The second item is a link to another article teased about a fifth of the way down the page. The link is to an article titled "Modern-day pirates jailed for plundering wrecks". The wreck was the HMS Hermes, lost during WWI. Nice mug shots of the dudes. Anyone here ever heard of them? Their names are Nigel Ingram and John Blight.

"Plundering wrecks". is what Key West Florida was founded and built upon. I've known a fisherman or two that would qualify for life sentences.
