That's pretty interesting- I love Jaguar's (...had a 1996 XJ6 that nearly killed me a few times stalling out...sigh, her name was Carmen and she was absolutely beautiful) but...long story short- usually leapers mouths are open no? This looks a bit more sculpture art to me? It's a great find either way!

Even though I worked for Rolls, had lots of Jags in the shop, mouth always open, never remember one like yours, and first ones very different.

Ah- that makes sense! Just looked and you're right! The ears nailed it. Wish I had been on here years ago and gotten a few pointers on how to fix my Carmen 😆

Sorry, there was no way to "fix" one of those Jaguars. You just repaired them best as you could until they broke down again. F'ing horrible cars to work on.

I have heard this from every mechanic ever haha, the one that tried to fix mine would say" ...in a gold wrapper" you can fill in the blank
