34 COIN CACHE - Five Silver!!!

What a day!!! Im having the best year I have ever had detecting, was trying to wait to post till I got everything cleaned up and pics of everything but just to darn excited.went to a new lot I have been wanting to detect for awhile. Not 15 minutes in got a crazy signal, scratchy jumping all over the place but was hitting up to 89 on my Pro so decided to dig, out popped a Walking Liberty half.. thinkin allright good start and rechecked my hole. Lets just say 15 minutes later I had 34 coins. 1 Walking Liberty, 2 silver rosies,1 mercury, 1 silver war nickel, 4 buffalo nickels, 4 1940's nickels and 21 wheat cents.... Basically was just using my pinpointer and digging with coins ranging from 6-9 inches deep. On top of that I also found a Silver medallion, a silver rifle badge, a silver class of 88 pendant, silver spoon, more jewelry which I am cleaning and loads of tokens, cracker jack toy, marbles, and some I am still trying to identify. As soon as I get everything cleaned up I will post more pics..

Clean 'em all up, and put 'em all on black! As for a hunting buddy, make it a Sig .45 Scorpion.

NOTHING gets respect like looking down the barrel of a .45. Well, maybe my 12 gauge Riot gun. Make sure that whoever you have to pull it on is standing in a spot that you've already been over; you wouldn't want to get any of "that" on your coil later.

I'm always impressed on what your finding and the dry soil seems to keep the finds in good shape. Around here, a lot of my finds are corroded.

Pointman, almost 90% of my silver finds are black and need some major cleaning, the cleaner ones only come from yards where the soil is rich and dark. Luckily I kinda like the look and try not to clean them to much, depends on the coin. Most of the dirt here is HARD and rocky. But after 20 years of diggin here im used to it. lol.

Thought I would update my post with new picks of all my finds. I dont clean my coins a whole lot, just basic soap and toothbrush, kinda like the distressed look tells more of a story about them. The money clip with the card suits i think is from the 1940's, Need help on the button if anyone knows where its from. Also bullet looking thing, bottom says Usa pat. Pending? Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the concern, think ive grown eyes in the back of my head and i am in alert mode constanly, I start around 5:30 in the morn and usually end my hunts by12:30. So I usually avoid alot of people, but have made some friends and am becoming a fixture in the neighborhoods and usually get waves from people, even the scary ones.lol. Also have police drive by every so often and stop to check on me and see what my finds are for the weekend.
