Well, just when you think you will never find another piece of jewelry, up pops one. From a site I have hunted on and off for the past few months. An old Victorian home still in the original family. I have found recent coins, nothing real old as far as that goes. A silver Mexican coin. An old lions head drawer pull. A small silver cross and some odds and ends. I gave them all to the owner of the home. Several years ago I found a 10k gold Southern Pacific railroad Ring near an old abandoned station. I posted that find a month or so ago. Never thought I would find another ring even half as nice. When I went to the home yesterday, the owner told me where the horses were hitched when people came to visit in the early 1900's. So thats were I decided to hunt. About fifteen minutes into the searching, the old Ace 250 said dig and up came this little baby. Twelve diamonds and probably 14K white gold. (haven tested yet)..I offered it to the owner of the house and he said No, you keep something. Well after about six months my 250 is paid for. No matter how often you find a nice item of jewelry you never get over the excitement of the find. one side has 32 and S on it and the other has a sword. The two eagles are worn, but the diamonds are all still solid in their mounts. I would guess its from the 1920's.
