While doing some research and seeing if the General Orders from the Army of the Potomac might be on the computer and it was. For the relic hunters in Washington, DC, go to Google: cut and paste the following: General Orders 18 September 30 1861 Headquarters of the Potomac then go to page 2 where 32 Civil War earthworks for the batteries that defended Washington, DC during Civil War are listed and partial location.
