Hey everyone hope you all had a great day. I sure did! We went to a railroad camp from the R.R. that was laid down in 1905. My friend found a V Nick and 3 Indian heads and some other odds and ends. I found the dime Indian and nickel pictured. I've never found and Indian or a V nickel yet have found flying eagles and $20 gold pieces, how does that work? Anyways got some canvas tacks and does anyone have an idea of what the #30 tag is? Does is relate to the railroad? Also found an eagle button as well as that costume jewelry at the camp.

I'm really liking those suspender adjusters. Those are some of my favorite things to find

I've dug eight v nickels this year. None anywhere near as nice as yours. Love the 1893 Barber as all mine from the 1900's. Lots of cool relics too.

Looks like you hunted a great site. that V Nickle looks better than most I have seen posted and way better than the one I dug this year. Those are some nice relics you dug.

Congratulations, I found my first V Nickel this year as well. No gold yet for me. Any idea what the Star of David with the 30 in the middle is?

Congrats on your first V Nickel. The # 30 tag may have been a livestock tag because of the curved s hook attached to the top.
