3 year old's FIRST FIND! and some weird extras

We were packing up to head out and he walks up with a handful sticks and rocks, this being one of them! We had to retake our "finds" photo!! How awesome. And then some bigger random ones. Anyone know what the green material is? I have so much to learn with materials. Never seen anything this color.

Don’t know about the green but looks like a good day out and keeping the passion moving along, doesn’t hurt that it’s a relatively cheap hobby. I don’t know if I could afford to golf or go out to eat as often as I go poke around the woods

The green material looks like the jasper I used to find a lot of when I lived in that area. Good for the little guy. It's a great Hobbie that can last him a lifetime.
