Went out today to the same old park that i found my 1917 Walker last week.Wound up with a 1923 merc and a 1926 merc and a 1961 Rosie. Also 5 wheats from 1927 to 1952. The biggest surprise was finding a complete roll of pennies about 2 inches down. I thought it was a piece of copper pipe until I took a closer look. 50 pennies in one plug! All in all 138 coins total.HH ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1543185193.445795.jpg

Wow. Now that is an unanticipated find. Nice coin haul :icon_thumright:

Congratualtions on the hunt! That penny roll is a cool find! :icon_thumleft:

That's a unique way to find a half dollar, and saved you from having to dig more 49 holes.

Great day Congrats! Never heard of anyone finding an entire roll of pennies!

A great hunt when three silver dimes are found.Cool find when you unearth a whole roll of pennies in one hole.I had a similar experience many years ago. This was an entire roll of Roosevelt silver dimes poked straight down,I thought I'd never stop digging em out.

Great day!! Would love to find a roll of coins like that. Congrats!!

Same here. I almost put it in my junk pouch till I took a good look at it. Thanks

I pulled 2 clad quarters from the same hole today. How is that a different pomp and circumstance?? :)

A whole new way to coin roll hunt! 😂 Great work!!! 🙌

Nice silvers! Congrats! :icon_thumleft: Pretty weird finding a whole roll!

Ive never hear of that before. but nothing surprises me with this hobby Good job!!!!!!!!

I found a roll of dimes back in the 80's before pinpointers. There was no paper, just the 50 dimes. It took me a while to find them all.
I sure wish mine were all silver like the post above.
Grats on a fine hunt!
