The first pic looks like a D.

The closeup kind of looks like an S.

Oh well. Glad I didn't get my hopes up too high.

This is the 2nd time someone told me I might have a 1916 D

I thought it could be a D too til the close up. Next time. :thumbsup:
 

If you hold the dime with the head straight up in front of you and flip the coin over, the torch/sceptor will be about three degree's off from the center of where you held it. The branch will also have a little branch coming out of it and barely touching
the top of "D". It looks like an "S" to me. Still a great find. :hello2:
