3 Seated's, Barber & Indian

Hi Folks

Have not posted any finds since early last spring as most of my hunting is done in farm fields. Researched a few places this summer when it was really hot around here, needless to say they didn't pan out. Since the crops are being picked I went back to an old campmeeting grounds I had pretty good luck at in the past. The finds are harder to come by but if you work it slow and take your time you can still find a little. Found 3 seated dimes 1854,1875,1876,one Barber Quarter 1914 and one 1902 Indian head. The 1876 is one of the better detailed seated I have found. The 1875 was totally black and was found in a low spot in the field, I believe it must have been in a wet spot over the years. had to use silver polish on it to get any detail. The Indian is one of the better ones I have found here as most of them I find are eaten up by fertilizers. Found with CZ-3D with owner's permission. Thanks for looking.
Mike

I hope to see more finds posted from the same spot.

Thanks Fishstick. Yea i have to work it slow as the finds are getting harder to come by here. It's a no- till field, sure wish they would turn the ground over as i am sure there is more here to be found. Mike.

Mike, congrats on the Seated coins and the Injun. Campmeeting sites are one of my favorite places to detect here in Pennsylvania. WTG............Rich.
