Hunting a trail kind of limits your options when 'hot spots' are found. I think the GPS tracking for field hunting is a great idea and a very useful tool :icon_thumright:

I did find 3 more RR track coins and my count now at 17. Still hoping to start counting other than flats :D but not complaining on the finds from 'flat track trail'.

Thanks for viewing my rescent finds from the trail.

Could you please give us a date on the coins......LOL.....Matt

Very interesting.....is all your finding the flattened coins? Finding any others? Are you looking near/on an abandoned railroad
track?
I think I can remember putting a few coins on the railroad track that was between my home and the school I attended. Don't know if I ever was able to find the coins after the local train did its work on them. :dontknow:
Interesting posts........

As a kid I couldn't find the coins either. I'm now catching up :D

what kid didn't put a couple on the tracks? I remember finding one of mine then trying to spend it at the store. They wouldn't take it. Surprise.
