Here's 3 more buttons I found in England. The left and center button I believe are one piece pewter. The left one has a 3 in the center, nothing else on the front or back. The center button has a crown over what looks like a flower (maybe a rose?), and there again, nothing else front or back that I can make out. The right hand button is a two piece brass domed button with a crown over a shield and two animals (lions?) standing on each side of the shield. The backmark is mostly readable and what I see is C ? (& maybe?) J W?LDUN. LONDON. Age and use would be great to know. Thanks.

The button on the far right is likely post-1900, due to the back attachment.
Based on their size, the two pewter buttons on the left are respectively cuff and coat buttons, probably early to mid 18thc in date.

Sorry for the "take no prisoners" reply but what we typically call cuff buttons are more often waistcoat or vest buttons - which are the same size as cuff buttons and therefore indistinguishable from them... So... OK, never mind. What's in a name? Cuff buttons...

Hey it's all good Matt, I appreciate the clarification my friend.
Like all the members who post in the What Is It forum, I to am here to learn.

Besides, if I want to know something I just ask my wife... she knows everything. :laughing7:
