Normaly i wouldnt bother with a rock this big, but the signal was too good to pass up. dug down 4 inches and hit solid rock, i had to dig a ft over just to find the edge of it, pryed it up with my shovel and dug down another 3inches and was rewarded with a
1865 indian head. i put the cent on a leaf for scale when i took the photo. also found two nice bells, the rumbler at the same site, and the dinner style bell at a site just up the road.

Awesome !!!! That bell is cool

The bells are great. I like those dinner style bells as you called them. My hunting buddy and I have found a few this year. They always bring a smile to my face.
