Its a 1918 and the religious pendant came from the same site. I can read France on the pendant and kano. It looks like it might be silver and has the right weight. The next day I found the 45 Washington at the same site near a outbuilding foundation I just stumbled on. Its very dense with briars and undergrowth. I can only imagine what it will be like come summertime. My buddy bassman meet up with me today and we headed to an older spot near my house that has been giving up a lot of large coppers. I found three buttons ànd my first Spanish silver a 1796 1/2 reale! I don't know if I like the dandy button or the reale better. I move a log near the cellar hole and underneath it I got a great signal. That beautiful dandy popped up of the ground and it still has some gilt on the front. The smaller button with gilt on the back is a Benedict & Burnham. That the second one from this site from that company. That was the first button I ever found so I always enjoy finding them. I eyeballed the marble near the cellar hole. Sorry I couldn't get better pictures this tablet doesn't have a good camera. Happy hunting everyone!

john845, Huge Congrats on the Spanish silver... You found quite a variety of stuff lately, silver, buttons, buckles, marbles and the charm. Thanks for letting me come along. I'll post tonight, after I go out today, near me. Good luck hunting today... Basssmann

Nothing like your first piece of Spanish. Silver that is

Congrats on the silver Reale and other coins & relics! :occasion14:

Thank you everyone. I went back today and kept up the silver streak . I will post it a little later

Congrats on your first spanish. I really like that big ol button, some of those fancy dandys have amazing designs.

Those are some great finds! Just think how long ago that nice dandy was lost and the fact that it has so much gilt is amazing. Congrats on the 1/2 reale too.

Congrats on digging your first Spanish silver, but I think that dandy trumps it :occasion14:
