Got out today at the same property as the last few weeks. We went to the opposite end of the property and began swinging .One smallish field provided all of these coins for me. Dropped musket balls and a button were also discovered. These coppers are not in the greatest shape as usual but I like them just the same.Kirk found a colonial coin today. My fifth half cent for the year and my fourth Draped bust half cent. My eighth Draped Bust large cent. I also found two draped bust counterfeits.Nothing newer than Draped bust year coins were found at this site. This one copper that I found today that is not identified has my seeing things. I swear I can see a bust facing left with nose, lips and hair in the back. Not sure though. My streak is still on.

Good day out!

Looks like a French 12 Deniers, date fits with the others too.

I think I've ID'ed those three times on here. :D

I've been really falling behind in my replies, especially to you... but you have to slow down! Every time I look there is a new post with OLD finds.

... or maybe I just don't like you anymore. :icon_jokercolor:

I'm willing to endorse this french 12 Deniers if it measures up to the size because it is what I'm seeing. Good job I.P.
