Was hunting out of town today and found an area that wasn't completely pounded (unlike what we find in central VA)....

Found my 2nd solid roll today, all 1966 and labeled on the roll as 1966. There were 10 rolls at the bank there and they were labeled '74, '72, '83, etc... I didn't see the 1966 until I got out to the truck. The bank also had $30 in IKE's. 27 of them are great MS63-65 1974's, 2 of them are BU 1974-D's and the 30th one is a 1974-S clad proof in great shape, only my second proof IKE.

In total I found 55 40%ers today and one lonely '64 (the teller asked me if I knew the price of silver as she was handing it to me???), another '87-S half (my 3rd '87-S in the last week) and the proof IKE. Today is the 6 month anniversary of my first CRH silver so I'm going to try and post a summary shortly.

wow, 55 total so 30 more on the road trip after the solid roll? that would be an epic out of towner. I've stopped road trips because I was spending more in gas, but every now and then you come across a doozy. congrats on your 2nd solid roll.

Congrats!! Sounds like an awesome road trip!! I miss having time to do those! lol

Nice find.

I was out of town on business last week. Stopped in a bank and the teller told me someone just dropped off $200 in halves. Found 38 40% ers !! My best find to date.

I found 10 other 40%ers in the rolls w/ the solid roll. 56 total silvers (55 40%ers and 1 '64) is the most I've found in a day. Previous record was 43 40%ers, 1 '64, 2 Franklins and a 40% IKE.

Nice haul!

I was in Richmond on Saturday but decided not to hit any banks after hearing on here about so many CRH'ers there. Instead met a lady about some coins she inherited, offered her a fair price and was turned down. So, a bust day as far as coins are concerned, but had a great day there otherwise. I'm fond of that town.

On whole Richmond is choked up with hunters. I got a great welcome back to RIC with 4 horrible skunk boxes today.
