Got back to the old mill site again after work today with my hunting buddy.
This time put in 3 1/2 hours, and I managed 9 coppers, an 1859 indian head penny,
and a nice assortment of relics. Not sure what my buddy's totals were, but
am looking forward to seeing his loot and I hope he posts some of it.
The copper totals look to include a George I, a slick one that I think I'll be able to identify,
3 GII's, 3 Connecticut coppers, and a nice, funky, counterfeit GIII that might turn out to be
something interesting. All the coppers, including the 10 from yesterday, will be getting a slow,
cold bath in hydrogen peroxide and further gentle cleaning.
Our present hunting window for this site closes Thursday for a while, so hope to have a four-day
totals post in the future with everything looking a bit more presentable.
Thanks for looking!

Dwayne

Dwayne, That shoe buckle is the BEST of the lot!!! I believe it's Georgian 1720-1790. God Bless HH Chris

Good stuff again Dwayne! Nothing like seeing those big greenies in your hole ot dirt pile :headbang:

I would think you would be seeing some Spanish silver by now....

Thats amazing. I wouldnt be able to sleep I would be counting coopers instead of sheep lol. Congrats again on a great site cant wait to see what you get next, got to be some silver there!!

Thats awesome, in just 2 days you have almost as many coppers I have dug all year.

That's an awesome site, I think the most I've pulled from any of my sites is 11 coppers. Surely there's some silver somewhere around!

What a site, Dwayne! I am Colonial speechless. :headbang: The coppers are turning out to be in decent condition as well. That is always a Colonial success, my friend. You will have to take a picture of your totals from this site once you are finished. I would love to see that Colonial pile. Thank you for sharing your adventures on Tnet. :hello2:

Kirk :hello:

You're killing us man!!

Great hunts!!! Continued success :headbang:

Silver, SILVER, SSSIIILLLVVVEEERRR!!!!!!!! Where's the bust silver? Just kidding, man you are making some fantastic finds, take a day off work and pound that spot before your "window" closes. HH

Good Lord! that is awesome. 19 coppers in two hunts?
Not only that , the shoe buckle chape is fantastic-you probably have still only hit surface of that site and there is sure to be some killer buttons and silver there too.
