2nd BARBER!!!!! 3rd Oldest coin!!! IH's and Silver.............................

Went out early this morning from 8:30 til about 12:00 . Started at a house that was going to be torn down after about 1/2 hour I went to the next town over and started hitting the parkway areas and then hit 2 more tear downs. The 1906 I H I scratched then about 6 inches away I got my 3rd oldest coin, a 1880 I H penny. It started to rain and after about 20 minutes of rain I found my 2nd BARBER Quarter , a 1909 D with a full LIBERTY( F- XF ). The rest you can see in the pics....

GOTTA LOVE THIS HOBBY!!!!!!!!

I found a GS in American silversmiths marks.Indicated that it is George Skerry from Boston,Mass in 1837,but the book doesn't show his makers mark,maybe or maybe not.I'll keep looking.

I believe it is because it came out of the ground just as you see it . The other spoon is stainless.
