27 silver's, 1 gold

Hello!

Got out this morning crack of dawn for 2 - 1/2 hours. Wow, MD'd twice in one week...lol. Hit the local park and cleaned up pretty good on some nice jewelry. I hit the volleball courts, all the play areas, and the surrounding benches and quit because it was already getting so hot and muggy at 8:30 am. But I had a pouchful, so I didn't care.

I say 27 silver pieces in my title, well, that's a bit misleading. 23 of them were sterling bead pieces from a broken handmade bead bracelet. They are really nice and I gifted them to my daughter as she does the "beading" thing. I also dug a beautiful Sterling cross, very nice, a wierd shaped 925 ring, a 925 earring, and a 925 heart pendant.
My gold is a sweet King Tut pendant, 14K yellow diamond cut gold. It's about 1/2" long.

I also picked up some junk jewelry and two un-fired bullets. A 22 cal and a 380 special snubnose.

Hope you all are able to get out there and dig some goodies too.

Here are some photos of today's finds...

Smiles!

Thanls Surfrat!

I really love detecting in places where the opportunity to find nice jewelry is there. Old coins are cool too, but I really love that jewelry, especially when I am lucky enough to find the gold!

Good stuff, BDoo!

Although, as I'm sure you know, the Masonic emblem countermarked Lincoln cent is an inexpensive novelty item, why not have a little fun and compare it with this one offered for $25 on eBay! ;)

Hi PBK!

Many thanks for your little bit of knowledge transfer here.
I guess these things are not that rare but $25... good luck getting that price...lol.
50 cents tops would be my ticket, but I'll take $10 for it. :)
Have a good one my friend!

What a sweet load of stuff :o I like to get a variety of keepers now and then but most of the time I end up with the usual clad / wheaties.

WTG and great hunting!

Very nice lot of jewelry you found, I bet your ears were just a ringing after all those pcs of silver beading. HH

For sure, but popping all these out of ground was a sweet chore.
They were right near the bottom of the kiddies slide, about 5 feet from it.
Thanks for the friendly comment! Good luck out there!

Finding jewelry is so addicting.
Love the gold and diamonds, and the silver too!
Thanks for stopping, Mark.
Hope you have even better luck!
The Masonic penny, what a fluke, but intersting.

Congratulations on you great finds. I have been finding a lot of them unfired 22's. Last time at a old church in the country, I dug up 8 of them. They ring up as dimes on my machine, and they all where at least 5 inches deep. I really hate them damn things.
