I still cant believe it either!! Mr. Gary Drayton would be proud of this one...lol. Was at the water line at the 7am low tide this mourn, the first hour was gloomy with nothing but bottle caps and a few clad. Three hours later found a low spot with a quarter, fish sinker and this 22k (916) Emerald beauty!!! First thing I did was look up the mark 916, no freakin way, broke out the acid to make sure, tested 22k all day!!!
I cant say the emerald is real yet, will have it looked at, but it sure looks good!!! Thx for looking and HH!!!!

It sure looks real to me. Lab created emeralds are usually a very deep shade of well, emerald green. Imho......cool!

That's awesome, can only hope to find something like that in the future.. Which detector are you using?

Awesome ring! WTG!

One of the nicest rings I have seen on here.... Congrats :occasion14:

Fantastic find. Congratulations. On the antique's roadshow last night, this lady had some emerald pearl necklace and the lady examining them said if you could shine a light thru them they were genuine. I don't know if you could do this with your ring, but I believe it's the real deal and a super find. Thanks for sharing these photos.

Wow that's nice. I want one!
