Nice mix of finds. You had a blessed year and dug in some kind soil. Have a favorite find for year? How many years have you been detecting?

Thx! Finished my 4th year. Bottom center dandy button, Trime and cannonball are my favorites.

LOL - love your T-shirt. Lots of really great items and love the way you group them together.
That trime does look to be in great shape and that colonial dandy button does stand out.

For pure perseverance, that spoon "mosaic" is neat to see. Looks like you found all of it?

Great year,

Love those military items you recovered this year.

You did a great job with the research and deserve everything you got.

Good year on coppers also. I'm sure next year will be even better.

Jer

Love the shirt

Great variety of finds, Thad! I must have missed your post on the cut Spanish.....don't get them too often here. Awesome year and I'm sure 2020 will be another great one too.

Thx! The main part of the spoon was a 21 VDI and the little slivers were 6-8โ€™s, really thin pieces. Found most of it.

Thx Jer! Yeah, Iโ€™m always surprised when a military item pops out since we had almost no action in the Burgh. This was definitely my best year for flatbuttons (well over 100 FTY), coppers and military items.

Thx John! Did you hit 200 FTY in 2019? Actually the Spanish cut Silver was a trade with Steve for a really nice GWI frag in May. Sort of old fashion 1700โ€™s barter...

Looks like you had a great year. May the next one be even better. Merry Christmas.

What? You done already? Great year Thad. The GWI buttons are my favorite. I also like the cut Spanish silver :laughing7: I count 33 IHPs in your pic. I just recovered my 30th yesterday.

Thx Steve! We had some fun hunts in 2019.

That looks like a good year to me. I hope 2020 is even better to you. Good luck.

Very nice year, good work. My personal favorite is the Australian Florin. Such a beautiful coin. Congrats on a fantastic year and good luck in 2020!

looks to me like you're killing it... great job. Can't wait til next year!
