Hey folks,

Nothing too spectacular today but I got out for a bit and found 5 wheats. All later dates from the 40s and 50s. Altogether I found 617 wheats this year. That’s a lot of digs!

Hah, thank you! Not sure what the Coinstar totals will be for the year but I can tell you I will be taking my wife out to a nice dinner for letting me disappear and then return to muddy the apartment on a regular basis. :-P

I spent my whole $230 in clad I found this year on a new 15x12 coil for my Equinox!

Nice Wash! Is there many detectorists in your area?

Oh ya, most public parks have been beat to death. My buddy and I spent 2.5 hours at one on Saturday. Only old coin between the two of us was a Dateless buff he found.

Permissions or creative spots are really the only places that produce around here.

617 Wheat pennies dug in one year is awesome.Which penny was your favorite? And could one be a 1909 S VDB?How many turned out with a nice clean patina? These last ones appear toasted.

Great job wheats are always a good sign that silver is near. Good job my friend. Tommy

Thank you! One 1909 plain but no S VDB unfortunately. I had 8 key or semi-key dates ranging from 1910-S to 1915-S. Sometimes those were the only good things I found so anytime that happened those certainly made my day!

Nicely done, and all the best,

Lanny

Congratulations on your wheat harvest!!

Nice finds Washingtonian!!! "D"
