2013 Veterans Day Hunt net's 3 Silver
First & foremost, I want to Thank those who serve, and those who did, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. From my Father who served on the front lines in Korea to my Son who Serves at the Guard unit down in Lexington as a ATC specialist, Thank You!
Been laid up with a broken Big Toe, but I finally got out & hunted for the first time in several weeks Saturday with a couple of friends, but I came away empty handed except for a couple of wheat's... since I had the day off for Veterans day as well, I took advantage of the nice weather and gave it another shot.
Got to my first spot, as I was chomping at the bits to dig something.... well, about 20 minutes later, I got a nice high tone on my machine showing those lovely numbers 12-47, 48, dug up the plug and found my 8th Silver Ring of the year
Things went dry there, so I found another sweet spot and netted a few wheat's and dug 2 Rosie's ( one is a semi key date, 1949 "S") within a foot apart from each other.. Glad to be out again, thanks for looking, Dirt Diga..aka, looknforgold
