That is one nice years haul...I have over the years enjoyed all your finds...loved your video ....i`m frozen in here in N.Y. going the get a foot of snow to nite ...but seeing all your finds.....well that takes the edge off and makes me think of spring...thanks for shearing over the years..you guys got some good history there and get to hold that in your hands...we have a great hobbie. and i hope you do some more video`s

Just different stuff. I'd kill for a belt plate or a copper right about now! There ARE years up there to be had that will rival this year, but with different relics. There are Nova Coppers to be dug! And 1808 pattern plates. You proved that for sure. Here, it'd be a rarity to find either one. Hell, any copper down here...

Shane just dug the 2nd Largie we have dug, ever. Yesterday. It's a Matron Head.
 

You guys certainly put the time in and were rewarded for your efforts with an lot of keepers and some real killer finds! Keep us posted on the Spanish shako hat badge.

As it turns out, the cap badge is Napoleonic Era, and was from a Regiment of troops from Potosi, Bolivia. :thumbsup:
 

I would surely love some of those marbles, since they are soooo easy to find.
 

That is truly some great finds. I had no idea that the sugar cane fields could render such treasures. My focus is fixing to change on my hunting places. As a life long resident in the sugar cane area, I sure will give it a try.

Roy, the cane fields are good but the tot lots are even better. :)

You must spend many days just cleaning - organizing and taking photo's of your finds !
